Purchase process

After you have contacted us, by phone, e-mail or post there are six steps:
  1. Select one or more plots you like to buy.
  2. Complete a 'Pre-Purchase Contract' (voorlopige koopakte) and pay a 10% down-payment to the notary/solicitor ('Notaris').
  3. The solicitor will send you the official 'Purchase Contract' and a 'Power of Attorney' (of course it is always possible to come to Holland and sign the contracts yourself at the solicitors office).
  4. Pay the rest of the purchase amount on the solicitor's bank account.
  5. As soon as the solicitor has received the rest of the purchase sum and the signed paperwork he will confirm the purchase.
  6. Paperwork is forwarded to the Land Registery (Kadaster). They and the solicitor will in turn send you out your tittle deeds, giving you legal freehold ownership of your plot(s).

"I came across an advertisement of Holland-Banking and decided to visit the location with my wife. We had a wunderfull day and it was excellent hosted. We bought a plot and we have to admit that everything was very professionally organized, especially the purchase process. It gave me a very good feeling. We will see what the future r.o.i. will be, but for us the most important point was not to loose money (like with stocks etc.).". John O'B. from Cork (Ireland).

"My uncle in London told me about Holland Banking. So I bought a piece of land from one of their projects in 1998. Last year I sold it and made about 70% return on my investment. Not bad at all. So I re-invested a part in their new project. It is very exiting, but it gives you a safe feeling on the other hand". Peter J. (sales-manager) from Boston (United States).

"We lost a fortune on stocks during the last 7 years. So, we changed our view on investing and saving money. So, we bought three plots in three different projects. One of those projects recently had a buy-out on which we made about 50% in 4 years time. Well, we can live with that!" Simon and Judy O' B. (retired) from Vancouver (Canada).

"A collegue and I participated in a project of about 1 hectare of forestland near the city of Nuenen in 2001 for ca. euro 3,- p/m2. We went to the community to ask for building-permission. In the beginning of 2006 we received news from the community that they will aprove our permission. Plots with building-permission in Nuenen cost about euro 350,- p/m2!" Mr. T. van der R. (bookkeeper) from Nuenen (Holland).

"In 1996 we bought two hectares of forest for euro 1,50 p/m2 near the village of Roermond, purely as a long term investment. Suddenly, we received a letter from the Province that they were planning a cycle path on our land. We were bought out for euro 17,- p/m2 in 2003." Mr. Jan J. (lawyer) from Roermond (Holland).

"During the spring of 2000 we bought a plot (of 7.000 m2) of land near the village of Haelen for euro 2,50 p/m2. They told us the community was planning a road over there. In 2003 we got a letter of the province with all their plans. In 2005 we were bought out for euro 22,50 p/m2. What a vision!" Mr. Huub K. (consultant) from Helden (Holland).

"In 2000 we participated in a large land-project near the city of Oldenzaal where we bought a plot of land for euro 7,- p/m2. The development took some effort but recently we got news that they got building-permission. The buy out will be around euro 70,- p/m2. We can hardly wait!".Mr. Jan G. (retired manager) from Hengelo (Holland).
